The short version

We collect what we need to teach you and to tell you which trucking companies would actually consider you. We do not sell your information, and we do not hand it to a carrier, school, or recruiter unless you approve that specific introduction first.

What we collect

When you create an account:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code.
  • What you tell us about the work you want — home time, lanes, freight, pay structure, endorsements you plan to get.
  • Your progress through the courses and your practice test results.

Later, if you choose to complete your driver profile, we ask about your driving history and eligibility — licence, experience, violations, accidents, and similar. These are the questions a carrier will ask anyway. Answering them here means we can avoid sending you somewhere that was always going to turn you down.

If you complete the ELDT theory assessment, we collect the identity details federal rules require for reporting: your legal name, date of birth, and commercial licence or permit number.

What we do not collect

We do not ask about your health. Our records show only whether your DOT medical card is current, expired, or not yet obtained — a credential status, not a medical condition. We never ask for diagnoses, medications, or physical limitations, and you should not send them to us.

Sharing with trucking companies

This is the part that matters most, so it is the plainest.

We show you carriers whose requirements your profile fits. Working out that match happens on our side — the carrier learns nothing about you during it.

Your contact details reach a recruiter only after you approve that specific introduction. There is no blanket permission, no automatic routing, and no option to approve everyone at once. Each carrier is a separate decision, and we keep a record of which ones you approved and when.

Reporting we are required to do

If you complete ELDT theory training with us, federal regulations require us to report that completion to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry. That report is a legal obligation and is not something you can opt out of while still receiving credit for the training.

Service providers

We use other companies to run the platform: hosting, our database, video delivery, and email. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Advertising

We advertise this platform on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). When you create an account, we tell Meta that a signup happened so we can measure which ads actually bring people in, rather than paying for ads that don't work.

Your email address and phone number are hashed before they are sent — converted into an irreversible string of characters. Meta hashes its own records the same way and compares the two, which lets it recognise a match without either side handing over a readable address. We do not send Meta your name in readable form, your driving history, your eligibility answers, or anything about your DOT medical card.

This is advertising measurement, not a sale of your data, and it is separate from carrier introductions — which still never happen without your specific approval. If you would rather not be included, email us and we will exclude you.

Email

We send a short series of emails after you sign up. Every one has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Account emails — password resets and confirmations — are not marketing and will still reach you.

Your choices

  • You can see and change your profile answers at any time.
  • You can unsubscribe from email with one click.
  • You can withdraw an introduction approval.
  • You can ask us to delete your account. Where a record is one we are legally required to keep — an FMCSA training report, for example — we will tell you what we have to retain and why.
