What this is
The Trucking Blueprint is an online CDL preparation and theory training platform. It is free to students. We help you study for the Texas commercial permit test, work through Class A ELDT theory, and understand the path to a commercial licence.
What this is not
We are not a CDL school. We do not provide behind-the-wheel training, we do not administer the licence exams, and we cannot issue you a licence.
We do not guarantee that you will pass any test or obtain a CDL. What you get out of the material depends on the work you put in and on requirements set by the state and by employers, none of which we control.
We are not an employer and we do not guarantee a job, an interview, or an offer. When we introduce you to a trucking company, the hiring decision is entirely theirs.
Your account
Keep your login details to yourself, and give us accurate information — particularly for ELDT, where the details you provide are reported to a federal registry. Deliberately false information can invalidate that record.
You need to be 18 or older to hold an account.
ELDT and federal reporting
Completing ELDT theory training here means we report your completion to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry, as regulations require. That report reflects what you actually completed. Assessment results are calculated on our servers from your submitted answers.
Introductions to carriers
If you complete your driver profile, we may show you trucking companies whose requirements your profile fits. Nothing about you is sent to any company unless you approve that specific introduction.
We may be paid by a carrier when a driver we introduce is hired or stays in the seat. That is how a free platform pays for itself, and you should know it. It does not change what we show you: a carrier that is a poor fit for you is not worth an introduction to either of us.
Using the material
The lessons, questions, and videos are ours. Use them to study. Do not copy, resell, or republish them.
Availability
We try to keep the platform running and the content accurate, but we provide it as-is. Regulations change, and you should confirm anything that matters against the current Texas CDL handbook and FMCSA rules.
Ending things
You can stop using the platform or ask us to delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend an account that abuses the platform or submits false information for federal reporting.
